The operations carried out in the assembly of sub-assemblies or airframes are multiple and constantly evolving. Nexam, in addition to stocking the majority of these products, makes daily adjustments to meet the needs of each user.

REAMER

Nexam designs and manufactures a wide range of reamers for your most precise applications, our range includes

American reamer with 15° left-handed helix, right-handed cut from Ø2 to Ø25.4 in HSS.
These reamers have a conical entry. The m6 tool tolerance allows reaming in H7 quality.
 ¨ French type ¨ reamer right-hand cut from Ø2 to Ø25.4 in HSS
These reamers have a conical entry on 1/3 of the cut part. The k7 tool tolerance allows for H8 quality reaming. Manual use with a left-hand turn.

HSS-E or Carbide reamer with a left-hand 15° helix, right-hand cut from Ø2 to Ø13.These reamers have a conical entry and are available in short (Lt100) or long (Lt130) series. For use on drilling machines.

Pilot reamer HSS-E or Carbide left-handed 15° helix, right-handed cut from Ø2 to Ø13.These reamers have a pilot for centring and are available in short (Lt100) or long (Lt130) series. For use on drilling machines.

• Taper-Lok reamer in HSS-E, right-hand cut. Tool for manual reaming for Taper-Lok fasteners.

Hi-lok Taper-Lok

Nexam designs and manufactures a range of Hi-Lok and Taper-Lok reamers in steel, carbide or carbide tip and PCD milling. They will allow you to perform your reaming and milling operations in one.

-Hi-Lok Reamer in high speed steel (M42), carbide or carbide tip and PCD milling. Manufactured to order. From a pre-hole, our milling reamers allow the cylindrical reaming and milling of holes intended to receive Hi-Lok fasteners in a single operation

Taper-Lok reamer in high-speed steel (M42). Manufactured to order. Using a pilot hole, our milling reamers allow conical reaming and milling of holes for Taper-Lok fasteners in a single operation.

Pilot and driver

Nexam designs and manufactures a wide range of pilots and drives to be fitted to our countersinks or Spotfacer . They will allow you to perform push or pull operations. Our range includes :

  • Removable pilot made of treated steel, allows the guidance of your 2GB and 2GC end mills as well as your 2HE,2HF,2HH end mills for all your push operations. Available from Ø2 to Ø15.875 in pilot, for bores from Ø2 to Ø6.

Hardened steel drive / pilot, allows the guidance of your 2GD end mills as well as your 2HG end mills for all your operations by pulling. Available from Ø3 to Ø15.875 in pilot, for bores from Ø3 to Ø6 with ¼ turn locking system.

We have also designed dual drives available from Ø2.5 to Ø6 to reduce costs or screw-in drives to reduce overall tool length.

Drills/Drilling bushes

Nexam designs and manufactures a wide range of drills for your most precise applications. Our range includes :

Type N drillpoint in carbide or HSS-E, 30° helix, right hand cut from Ø2.38 to Ø13, available in short or long series. Available in 20° helix on the carbide range to provide greater operator comfort for manual operations.

Maintenance drillpoint in HSS, 30° helix, right hand cut. Available in 6ʺ and 12ʺ from Ø2.38 to Ø8.5. Theses tools are purposed to be used in hard to reach or remote drilling.

Angle drive drillpoint in HSS, 30° helix, right hand cut. Available from Ø2 to Ø5.6, for your drilling in low access  areas with 10-32 UNF or ¼- 28 UNF threaded shank.

Kevlar drill in  carbide , 28° helix, aff 3 brads point. Available from Ø2.489 to Ø10. Drilling of Kevlar and composite materials.
Drill reamer ogival tip, ogival point, available in 3 or 4 flutes from Ø2.4 to Ø10. The dagger drill allows drilling and reaming in one operation.
Double  flute step drill made of solid carbide, the double flute geometry allows to obtain an excellente surface quality and agood accuracy.

Countersink Drill

Nexam designs and manufactures a wide range of steel and carbide countersink drills. They will allow you to carry out your drilling and countersinking operations in a single operation, our range includes.
DRIVEMATIC countersink drill, in high speed steel (M42), single land, for drilling and countersinking operations in one operation on Drivematic machines.
Countersink drill for countersink micro-stop, in high speed steel (M42), single land, for drilling and countersink operations in one operation on  microstop cage  M6x100 or ¼-28UNF. Available from Ø2.4 to 6.528 in catalogue standard.

NUTPLATE countersink drill, in high-speed steel (M42) or diamond-coated carbide, simple strip, for you to drill and countersink in one operation on NUTPLATE machines. Available from Ø2.489 to 4.1 as standard.
SPACEMATIC countersink drill, high speed steel (M42), single flute, for drilling and countersink operations in one operation on SPACEMATIC machines.

Countersinking

Nexam designs and manufactures a wide range of pilots and drivers to be fitted to our countersink or bore mills (fraise à lamer). They will allow you to perform push or pull operations. Our range includes.

Removable pilot , allows the guidance of your 2GB and 2GC spotfacer cutter as well as your 2HE,2HF,2HH countersink for all your push operations. Available from Ø2 to Ø15.875 in pilot, for bores from Ø2 to Ø6.

  • Pilote for back countersink/spotfacer, allows the guidance of your 2GD spotfacer cutter as well as your 2HG countersinking for all your operations by pulling. Available from Ø3 to Ø15.875 in pilot, for bores from Ø3 to Ø6 with ¼ turn locking system.
  • We have also designed dual drives available from Ø2.5 to Ø6 to reduce costs as well as screw-in drives to reduce overall tool length.

RIVET SHAVER CUTTER

Nexam designs and manufactures a range of levelling endmill, our tools allow the removal of rivet protusion after installation. Our range includes.

– Brazed carbide levelling end mill, 5° right hand helix, right hand cut, 2 wire to wire , Theserivet shaver cutter fit onto slot cutter with 1/4;¨-28UNF threaded shank. The range is available from Ø6.35 to Ø31.75.

Solid carbide Rivet shaver cutter 5° right hand helix, right hand cut, These cutters fit on single or double rotation flushers. The range is available in 1-1/8 and from 25 to 49 depending on your application.

DEBURRING Cutter

Nexam designs and manufactures a range of deburring cutters, our range includes.
– HSS-E 5% Co hole deburring cutter, straight shank, straight cut, 90° curvilinear sharpening, allows deburring of holes in aluminium and plastic. Our tools are available from Ø6.35 to Ø30.

– Deburring cutter 1 flute in HSS-E 5% Co, straight shank, 20° right-handed helix, right-handed cut, aff curvilinear 90°, allows deburring of holes in aluminium and plastic. Our tools are available from Ø4 to Ø30.

Deburring cutter 3 flutes in HSS-E 5% Co, straight shank, right-hand cut, 90° curvilinear sharpening, allows deep deburring of holes in aluminium. Our tools are available from Ø6.3 to Ø28.

Deburring cutter 3 flutes in carbide, straight shank, right-hand cut, 90° curvilinear sharpening, shank with 3 flats for Ø ≥ 12.4 allows deep deburring of holes in aluminium and titanium. Our tools are available from Ø4.3 to Ø31.

Spot facer Cutter

Nexam designs and manufactures a wide range of HSS-E or carbide spotfacer cutter. They will allow you to manufacture your laminating operations by pushing or pulling. Our range includes.

Counterbore, right hand helix, 4 , available in HSS-E and brazed carbide from Ø5 to 38. Our end mills are mounted on our   microstop cages  (metric and inch) and are used with our removable pilots.

Back spotfacer cutter, left-handed helix, 4 , available in HSS-E and brazed carbide from Ø8 to 38. Our end mills are used with our quick-fit drives.
HSS-E Back spotfacer cutter, left-handed helix, 4 , these end mills cutters are used with our screw-on drivers.

Hollow cutter

Nexam designs and manufactures a range of hollow cutters, our range includes.

– HSS-E pilot holesaver, 5° right hand helix, right hand cut, Our tools are designed for drilling from a pilot hole in Aluminium or Titanium and are used with our 2YC pilots. The range is available from Ø10 to Ø50.

Fixed pilot trepan with brazed carbide inserts, right hand hélix, right hand cut. Our tools are designed to manufacture holes from a pilot hole in composite materials, CFRP, GFRP, Kevlar. The range available from Ø8 to Ø50
